Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Flyer
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling is the most accurate process modeling tool available and is widely trusted and experimentally validated across numerous industries. Going beyond basic empirical models, High Performance Computing (HPC) is used to iteratively solve principal equations related to fluid flows, thermodynamics, heat transfer and other physical phenomena over a finite computational grid, known as a mesh. The mesh and equations are computationally solved to obtain high levels of detail and scientific accuracy for real world problems.

Blowout Contingency Plan with a tiered Incident Command Structure for a large Carbon sequestration project
United Safety worked with the client, a supplier of integrated project management solutions to produce response plans and operational flowcharts of different scenarios that adhered to industry best practices to address eventualities of a Blowout scenario in a large Carbon sequestration project.
Quality safety management services for workover operations
In order to delivered quality safety management services for workover operations in Republic of Congo, United Safety had to establish operations in the country following a 30-day mobilization period. We leveraged existing resources from our Technical Operations Center in Angola to execute services onboard a tender rig, successfully launching operations in the Republic of Congo allowing on time quality delivery to the customer.
Ultrasonic Anemometer
Fast response, high resolution and three-dimensional wind measurement.
H2S safety services and a full range of breathing air systems for drilling programs
Provided H2S safety services, training and a full range of breathing air systems to support the client’s drilling programs in South Africa and mitigate risks during drilling operations into high pressure H2S reservoirs and open water exploration in offshore drilling rigs with a high concentration of H2S.
Facilitating large scale mobilization of H2S and CO2 gas safety systems for a major Oil and Gas company in Brazil
Managed and delivered a brand new range of equipment for 10 offshore drilling rigs in compliance with challenging importation regulations unique to the country. Standardized equipment documentation to minimize inconsistencies and engaged the services of in-country and external and logistics specialists so equipment packages passed customs swiftly.
Establishing a national recruitment program within the first six months of project operation.
United Safety established a national recruitment program with an efficient transition program within the first six months of project operations in Brazil. We recruiting sufficient amount of national workers of relevant background and involved incumbent personnel to conduct intensive training and mentoring, achieving 60% local content at project launch and 100% within six months.
Importing, installing and operating a brand new range of H2S and CO2 safety services on 10 offshore rigs in Brazil
United Safety’s quality equipment was deployed at project start up along with an aggressive nationalization development program, meeting timelines set out by customer to install and operate H2S and CO2 Detection and Protection Systems on 10 rigs, offshore in Brazil while simultaneously developing a competent local content of 60%.
Delivered a custom-built gas safety solution for a Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) exposed to H2S
Provision of H2S supervision, training and breathing air and gas monitoring equipment to ensure safety in an H2S emergency. Needs Assessment was conducted to determine a solution for personnel protection and being in compliance with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
The customer, a leader in leasing and operating Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODUs) worldwide required H2S safety solutions due to the presence of H2S which could potentially have fatal consequences for all personnel onboard.
SiteCourier™ Differentiator
The SiteCourier™ dispatch system is a unique and innovative way to deliver safety resources during a turnaround or shutdown. SiteCourier™ delivers the safety resources to craft labour and fetches it back when the job is finished reducing lost tool time incurred when workers walk to a central hub to pick up and drop off safety resources.
QCycle™ Differentiator
This proprietary QA/QC process called QCycle™ consisting of a mobile onsite QA/QC system which can turnaround used equipment quickly for re-deployment. QCycle™ focusses on efficiency and reducing time spent in Stage 3 by speeding up the field maintenance process.
Needs Assessment Differentiator
The Needs Assessment is a process used to review the work with key plant management stakeholders prior to all turnarounds. Our real goal during a Needs Assessment is becoming a fellow committed stakeholder in the future success of the project.
Establishing a project management system for an offshore drilling activity that encourages continuous improvement.
In order to ensure safe and hazard-free drilling operations for client’s Offshore Drilling Activities we developed a Well Operator’s Drilling Project Management System that provided structure and support to client’s Offshore Drilling project.
Ensuring safe operating procedures through a HAZID/Risk Analysis of Sand Master equipment
One of customers was concerned about quantifying potential occupational exposure of hazardous particles. We conducted a HAZID/Risk Analysis of customer’s Sand Master equipment, providing them a clear yet comprehensive process that covered all aspects of the HAZID/Risk Analysis.
