The shift toward increasingly complex gas extraction projects demands a clear understanding of the risks involved in operating in sour gas fields. Even with advanced gas detection systems in place, the possibility of unexpected toxic gas releases remains a serious threat to personnel safety, highlighting the importance of robust emergency protection measures.

That is why United Safety developed the Air TreQ™ Escape – a pioneering mobile, high-pressure, self-contained breathing air system designed to support personnel working in IDLH environments. It delivers extended emergency breathing protection without compromising mobility.

In an emergency, personnel first assemble at the muster point. From there, a safe evacuation must be carried out to a designated safe zone. However, in many cases, the distance involved means standard breathing apparatus may not provide sufficient air for the full journey. The Air TreQ™ Escape bridges this critical gap by supplying both breathable air and transport capability. In turn, it enables the safe evacuation of up to nine personnel at a time.

Beyond breathing air support, the system is also equipped with essential emergency survival tools. These include a first aid kit, radio, flashlight, and gas detector. Therefore, teams have everything they need to respond effectively and reach safety with confidence.

Keeping personnel safe during emergencies.

The Air TreQ™ Escape is a mobile emergency air delivery system that ensures efficient evacuation of personnel to a safe zone.
