What is digitalization in upstream?
The Oil and Gas industry is going through a massive digital change with more emphasis than ever being placed on productivity, safety and cost effectiveness. Safety solutions for the upstream in both onshore and offshore have also evolved with these objectives in mind. To ensure that onsite personnel stay safe in some of the most hazardous work environments in the world, we use cutting-edge, cost effective, networked safety solutions to ensure worker safety and maximize productivity.
How does it work?
Through our comprehensive networked TeQ Shield solution, we can track, monitor and communicate better with onsite workers. TeQ Shield combines a multitude of digital technologies like RTLS, pervasive wireless, location triangulation, drone, cloud and near real time analytics to enhance worker productivity, reduce costs and improve safety simultaneously. From badge-in to badge-out, workers can be tracked continuously to ensure safety and maximize accountability.
What are the key advantages of digitalization in upstream?
Real-time data, information, and analytics through RTLS or Drone service lead to better quality and speed of decision-making. With network systems that offer accurate tracking, monitoring with either RTLS or Drone services, workers are better monitored ensuring enhanced safety and productivity.
