Solution: Digital Mustering and Headcount
Country: Qatar
This case study looks at how the digital Headcount and Mustering solution is an effective way to shorten mustering time while improving efficiency.
Challenge:
Reducing downtime and increasing accountability during mustering in an onshore drilling location. T-Cards are made of paper card and displayed manually on T-Card racks where they can be viewed, retrieved, and updated. However, the challenge was in delays caused by looking for missing documents and understanding the poor writing on the T-cards.
Solution:
TeQ Shield™ Guardian: Digital Mustering and Headcount. This solution replaced the paper T-cards with a digital solution that removed all the issues of missing documentation and illegible handwriting present in the traditional paper T-card system.
Result:
Increased accountability of available headcount on site, vs. mustered personnel. Tallying of personnel at muster point is instantaneous reducing downtime during drills from 20 minutes to 5 minutes with 80 -100 personnel on site. All data is digitally stored and allows for traceability and availability of records for future learnings. Zero delays caused by inability to understand poor hand writing and missing documentation.
