On August 26 – 28, 2013, United Safety attended the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPA) Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference offers opportunities to network, learn and advance as leaders in occupational safety and health during two days of workshops addressing current safety, health and environmental issues.
“About 75 percent of the US refinery companies are VPPPA members such as, LyondellBasell, CITGO, ExxonMobil, Valero and several others. There is a vast market opportunity for us in this conference.” explained Patricia Bareis, Sales Director for USS.
Participants of the conference include safety and health managers, employee safety team members, industrial hygienists, union representatives, consultants, environmental health specialists, human resource managers and government agency representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Energy (DOE).
