Doha, Qatar – After a successful launch at ADIPEC in November 2013, United Safety in association with Schlumberger, will now debut the Air Qruise™ Trooper, the world’s first Vehicle Gas Protection System, at the IPTC 2014 in Qatar.

With Oil and Gas activities progressing into increasingly challenging environments, the Air Qruise™ Trooper fills an industry gap and ensures that in the event of a gas leak, every aspect of a person’s safe evacuation from a toxic gas release site is in place.

Today, in both industrial and upstream facilities, there are a range of solutions available to ensure the safety of personnel in the event of a toxic gas release. There is a gap however, in ensuring that personnel stay safe while in transit. This is the gap that the Air Qruise™ Trooper is designed to close and in the near future, we expect it to become the norm for every company that takes its employees’ safety and evacuation needs seriously.” says Dr. Elie Daher, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer for United Safety.

The Air Qruise™ Trooper comes with a comprehensive package that includes state-of-the-art external and internal gas detection systems, an alarm unit, an intelligent Q-tab touch screen that displays all vital readings and air masks housed in protective pouches. This unique combination ensures that the vehicle’s occupants are immediately alerted to a gas leak while being supplied with breathing air and transported out of the toxic release site.
