A GTL operator in Qatar was managing a fragmented network of safety service providers while battling a persistent operational challenge: keeping breathing air flowing reliably in confined and space-restricted work areas. High-volume air supply required frequent cylinder changeouts, and each changeout meant heavy forklift traffic, manual handling, and workflow interruptions – a combination that steadily increased both downtime and safety risk on site.
United Safety was brought in as the sole provider for the operator’s air-related requirements, replacing the multi-vendor approach with a single, streamlined partnership. The solution paired two purpose-built systems: Air Qube™, delivering high-pressure breathing air for large-scale demand, and the compact Air Qube™ Mini, engineered specifically for tight footprints and confined work areas. Together, the systems matched air delivery to the exact demand of each work zone, backed by onsite maintenance and technical support to keep operations running without interruption.

Upgrading to a high-volume, high-pressure air supply eliminated the need for frequent cylinder changeouts, removing a major source of both downtime and physical hazard. Manual cylinder transport was no longer necessary, cutting out one of the most common causes of site disruption and injury risk in confined-space work. Overall tool time increased as workflow interruptions disappeared, giving the operator a meaningful productivity gain alongside the safety improvement.
