About Daryl
Daryl Helmer has spent 14 years with United Safety Ltd and is based out of the global headquarters in Airdrie, Canada. Before being named CFO in 2013, Daryl was VP of Finance working across all business groups and segments focusing on operational efficiency including software implementations, costing tools, budgeting and forecasting growth opportunities. He comes with over 25 years of vast experience in the oil & gas industry.
Daryl works closely with United Safety’s executive board, providing financial insight, assessing organic and acquisition expansion opportunities, operational and financial strategy planning along with governance and risk management. Daryl has been instrumental in the company’s growth and expansion into new countries, including global credit arrangements to support the company during the company’s growth plans. Daryl is also responsible for Information Technology Strategy and Procurement within the company.
He received his accounting designation in 1999 from the Society of Management Accountants of Alberta (CMA, CPA).
