SPE MEHSE Conference

Protecting people, environment, asset, and reputation—are we prepared?

This is the theme of the seventh SPE Middle East Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainable Development Conference & Exhibition in Doha Qatar, running from September 22-24.

The conference will gather industry professionals to foster discussion around HSE issues such as social responsibility, sustainable development, risk management, environmental issues, health hazard management, behavior-based safety, and more.

United Safety is intensely involved in the event, not only as an exhibitor, but also as thought leaders. Dr. Elie Daher (our Executive Vice President) is moderating Panel Session 1, HSE Management (Disaster Management/Crisis Management) and speaking at Panel Session 4, ‘Establishing Organisational Belief in HSE’.

Mr. Darrell Dowd (our Risk Management Eastern Hemisphere), is speaking in Panel Session 7, Process Safety Approach in the Middle East (Including Safety Cases and Asset Integrity). Furthermore, our Qatar Manager, Sameh Adel Schoeib, is also part of the Environment Sub-committee and is chairing Technical Session 6 Workforce Welfare. To top it off, United Safety is presenting 3 papers as part of the technical program. This participation shows how United Safety is keen on sharing our 27 years of experience in Oil and Gas safety, in order to help improve HSE initiatives across the industry.

Visit us at booth 68 where you will be able to see three of our innovations that bring increased mobility and safety to personnel working in IDLH environments: the Air Qruise™ Rover, our air-powered gas safety vehicle designed to operate safely and reliably in potentially toxic and explosive atmospheres, the Air Qruise™ Solo a compact Personal Transport Vehicle equipped with breathing air and gas detection and the Air TreQ™ Escape , an emergency egress mobile breathing air source.
