The magazine features reports from Europe, North and South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East and provides detailed technical articles about oil and gas exploration, drilling and production.
The April 2015 issue included features focusing on safety technology with bonus distribution at OTC in Houston. The article discussed the evolution of the technology behind the new generation of explosion-proof vehicles and how innovation plays an important role in the rise and fall of significant innovations that made history. BIC Magazine featured our office inauguration in Midland, Texas in their March 2015 issue.
United Safety recently opened its fifth office in the U.S. in Midland. The expansion aims at tapping into the vast upstream activity in the region. In charge of the new office is Area Manager Steve Terrio. Terrio has been with United Safety for over six years, previously as field coordinator in United Safety’s Corpus Christi, Texas, and area coordinator in Zama, Alberta, Canada, from 2011-2012. The article describes the challenges posed by sour-gasfield development, specially the toxic and flammable atmospheres created when H2S is released to the surface.

United Safety was featured in the February, 2015 issue of BIC magazine. The article describes the challenges faced by an Oil and Gas operator in one of their turnarounds.
Workers were to perform high-risk tasks in confined spaces under breathing air where their breathing activities were to be monitored at all times. It was crucial to provide the ability to immediately identify abnormal breathing patterns before the situation could turn life threatening.
