United Safety recently opened its fifth office in the U.S. in Midland. The expansion aims at tapping into the vast upstream activity in the region. In charge of the new office is Area Manager Steve Terrio. Terrio has been with United Safety for over six years, previously as field coordinator in United Safety’s Corpus Christi, Texas, and area coordinator in Zama, Alberta, Canada, from 2011-2012. New Vehicle Delivers Safety in Flammable and Toxic Environments on HSE NowHSE Now, SPE’s HSE magazine, has recently featured our Air Qruise™ Electro-Ex.

The article describes the challenges posed by sour-gasfield development, specially the toxic and flammable atmospheres created when H2S is released to the surface.
