The Airdrie office participates in the two Airdrie parades, the Canada Day parade and the Santa Parade, in an effort to raise community awareness on safety. Each year, employees and their children volunteer to be on the float, which is constructed by a team of dedicated volunteers from the shop and warehouse.
Every Christmas, the Airdrie office participates in the Adopt a Family program. This program is run by local charities and benefits the disadvantaged in our community, enabling parents and children to enjoy Christmas. We are provided with a wish list from family members, and employees choose one (or more) of the items on the list, buys and wraps the items and everything is delivered to the families. We also help a number of local non-for-profits in town by donating or loaning out items such as first aid kits and safety jackets.
Our joint venture in Saudi Arabia, Rawabi United Safety Services, also contributes to the Saudi Cancer Foundation, an organization established to raise awareness about cancer, its causes and methods of treatment and prevention, as well as to provide moral support and education for cancer patients and their relatives through a network of volunteers, doctors and specialists in this area.
